Meet my newest houseguests: two little green frogs who've made themselves completely at home on a cozy wooden-framed sofa. In the first painting, a frog leans back against a soft pink gingham cushion, reaching up toward a glass jar of something golden and sweet. In the second, her friend reclines beside a round cushion, one webbed hand raised like she's mid-conversation, totally relaxed.
These two were painted as a pair, and I love how much personality came through in such a small space — each one is only 2.5" x 3.5", but they're packed with warm wood tones, soft golden light, and a lot of frog charm.
Both are completely one-of-a-kind originals — never reproduced, never printed — and each is up for its own 7-day auction on eBay right now:
