Watercolor and gouache mixed media on a 2.5"x3.5" ACEO card. Her downy feathers are soft layered watercolor washes in warm yellow-greens, while the raincoat's pink and its little white heart print are built up in opaque gouache so the coat pops against the muted background. The leaf umbrella's glossy green highlight is the one bright, confident brushstroke in the whole piece.
